Picking apples in Nebraska City with our friends, the Livingstons.
Megan, Samuel, Gabriel and baby Joseph are separated from the boys' daddy (Andrew) due to the hurricane damage to their home outside Houston. Pray for them. God-willing, the work on the house will be done and they'll return home December 2nd.

A much-needed three day Ignatian silent retreat for Valerie at the Broom Tree Retreat Center in Irene, South Dakota. Much needed rest and gentle graces from the Good Lord to nourish me with baby number three on the way. This picture outside the chapel moved me deeply...over and over again...still does. It's all I want for Christmas, but I don't have a name for it or the artist. I'll have to call the retreat house...
